The Round Protagonist

in dr.franklin's island semi learns how to be strong in though sitiuations. it helped her a lot to becuase later on in the book she find's out that maranda is not though or strong minded like she was in the begining of the story. so maranda is the one that always told her to be strong and not scared, but in the end because of maranda helping semi out and geting her mind stronger, semi is the one being strong and helping her out not to be afriand.
